Summary
Shallow compotier, cover and stand with gilt butterfly handles and finial. Spode dessert service, centre painted with named bird perched on branch and rockwork, plain border within bands of gilt patterns. Blue Titmouse and Pied Flycatcher on compotier, Crested Wren on cover, and Black Redstart on stand.
Provenance
Part of the Fairhaven Collection. The house and contents were bequeathed to the National Trust in 1966 by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966)
