Summary
Chinese porcelain oviform vase, ormolu mounted, decorated with flying birds, prunus and bamboo branches on a pale celadon ground, the Louis XV mounts cast and chased with leaf scrolls and berried leaves, Chien Lung (Qian Long). Painted in underglaze blue and red with white slip.
Provenance
Bequeathed to the National Trust by Huttleston Rogers Broughton, 1st Lord Fairhaven (1896-1966) with the house and the rest of the contents.
