A walnut, cherry and elm comb back Windsor armchair, Thames Valley, circa 1770. With shaped toprail and in-curved under-arm supports, the elm seat on turned legs joined by H-stretchers. Shown as being in the Deanery Garden in Country Life photographs from May 1903 (non-collection) before coming to Lindisfarne.
