Summary
Small earthenware coffee pot, tapering body, C-scroll handle and dome cover with finial. Covered with a thick cream glaze and hand painted with a large scroll motif in green, blue and brown enamels. Brown line around rim. Made circa 1900.
Provenance
Believed to have been made at the Benthall/Haybook Pottery in Broseley, Shropshire circa 1900. Given to James Holme Benthall and his wife Jill by Mr Roger Edmondson. Given to The National Trust by James Holme Benthall and Jill Benthall in August 1995.
