The Benthall collection of Caughley porcelain shards, showing various patterns and from different objects. Made circa 1775 - 1799.

Provenance

Made in Shropshire circa 1775 - 1799. Owned by Sir Arthur Paul Benthall (1902 – 1992). Accepted in lieu of tax by H.M. Government in March 1993 following the death of Sir Arthur Paul Benthall in 1992 and allocated to the National Trust for display at Benthall Hall.
