Summary
Dome cover with finial made to go with a circular earthenware porringer. The base is listed on a separate record (509517.1) White glazed interior, thick brown glaze to exterior. Made circa 1900.
Provenance
Believed to have been made at the Benthall/Haybook Pottery in Broseley, Shropshire circa 1900. Purchased by James Holme Benthall and his wife Jill from a Mr Edmondson trading from Princess Street in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Given to the National Trust by James Holme Benthall and Jill Benthall in August 1995.
