Summary
These items compile of a fluted barrel shaped tea caddy and a cover. They are painted with a gilt cellular and foliate swag border around shoulders separated by turquoise enamel band. Made circa 1775 - 1799 by Caughley Porcelain Works.
Provenance
Made in Shropshire circa 1775 - 1799. Owned by Sir Arthur Paul Benthall (1902 – 1992). Accepted in lieu of tax by H.M. Government in March 1993 following the death of Sir Arthur Paul Benthall in 1992 and allocated to The National Trust for display at Benthall Hall.
