Summary
Fluted circular saucer with scalloped rim and raised on foot ring. Decorated with gold floral spray to centre contained in line border, outer border of interlocking circles. Item made circa 1775 - 1799, by Caughley Porcelain Works.
Provenance
Made in Shropshire circa 1775 - 1799. Owned by Sir Arthur Paul Benthall (1902 – 1992). Accepted in lieu of tax by H.M. Government in March 1993 following the death of Sir Arthur Paul Benthall in 1992 and allocated to the National Trust for display at Benthall Hall.
