Summary
An eight-day mahogany, three train longcase clock. Hood with two beaded columns supporting a top cornice shaped like a pagoda; cornice has two columns with brass globe-shaped finials. Inset quarter columns to rear of hood and pierced design to sides and cornice. The trunk has a shaped and hinged door panel with escutcheon and is supported on a base with bracket feet. Steel dial plate with engraved Roman numerals, two subsidiary dials in the centre, one with the instructions 'Chime' and 'Silent'; pierced hands. Ornate gold decoration around dial and glazed hinged door to dial with escutcheon.
