Summary
An eighteenth-century Italian cabinet and stand of ebony inlaid with ivory. The cabinet has nine small drawers decorated with ivory inlays of birds and trees and lined with floral paper. The central feature of a vase and flowers is framed by the architectural forms of a single arch, two columns and a balustrade top. When opened this reveals a further six small drawers. The stand has four tapering legs, a solid stretcher, bun feet and two brass carrying handles.
