Summary
A mahogany linen press, English, late 18th century, but later modified. Having a moulded cornice above a frieze inlaid with dentils and with ebony banding. The interior fitted with five slides (now behind later Perspex) enclosed by two paneled doors inlaid to the interior and exterior with ebony. All above two short and two long cockbeaded drawers with pressed brass handles, and raised on outswept bracket feet.
