Summary
A walnut-veneered, crossbanded and featherbanded bureau, English, circa 1720 - 30 and later, with later feet, sitting beneath NT 495167.2, a walnut and glazed bookcase, together forming a bureau bookcase. With deal backboards. The drawers and fall featherbanded and crossbanded. The fall enclosing an interior fitted with eight oak-lined small drawers inlaid with holly, beneath eight pigeonholes. Above three graduated and cockbeaded drawers, all with brass handles, backplates and escutcheons. The bracket feet later, and veneered in oak.
