Summary
Tapestry, wool and silk, Verdure with Bird, Flemish, c. 1625-1650. A landscape with two chickens in the foreground, either fighting or mating. There are borders with flowers and leaves at the top and bottom, and slightly wider borders with baskets at the sides. The bottom of the lower border has been folded in. This tapestry is part of a set with nos. 494833 and 494841.
