Summary
Tapestry, wool and silk, Verdure, Flemish, c. 1625-1650. A square verdure tapestry with a section cut out of the centre to make way for a door. There are borders with leaves and flowers at the top and bottom, and slightly wider borders with baskets at the sides. The bottom of the lower border has been folded in. This tapestry is part of a set with nos. 494841 and 494842.
