Summary
A double feather-banded and walnut-veneered stand, English, circa 1715 and later, supporting a chest [NT 494507.1]. This stand with upper edge moulding and with a central drawer flanked to either side by a deep drawer. The drawers feather-banded and surrounded by double bead carcase mouldings. Within arched and cockbeaded aprons raised on six cup over baluster-turned legs terminating in bun feet and joined by a wavy flat stretcher. Parts of the legs, feet and stretchers are replacements.
