Summary

A mahogany and ebonised holly inlaid bookcase top on a later stand, English, the top late 18th century, the stand early 20th century. With a pair of astragal glazed doors enclosing shelves and raised on a stand with a frieze drawer and square section legs tied by stretchers.

Provenance

Bequest of the contents of Grantham House to the National Trust in 1944.
