Summary
Ashdown Park. Engraving by I. Kip from a drawing by L.Knyff, c.1716. Seen from above as centre of four blocks of trees enclosed within a wall and bisected by four drives which cross at the house. Two lodges to right of house joined by gated straight wall. A coach and horses career down avenue towards us and open gates. Black and gold Hogarth frame, glazed.
