Oil painting on canvas, The Forest of Bere, by Joseph Mallord William Turner, RA (London 1775 - Chelsea 1851). A circa 1808 landscape by J.M.W. Turner. A scene from the 3rd Earl of Egremont's (1751-1837) estate a few miles north of Havant in Hampshire. A pool is shown across the centre with at left, a man stripping osiers.
