Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Francis Archibald Douglas, Viscount Drumlanrig (1867-1894), painted posthumously in 1896, possibly by William Edwards Miller (fl.1873 – after 1929), initialled WEM and dated 1896. A head-and-shoulders portrait of the elder brother of Alfred 'Bosie' Douglas, turned slightly to the left, gazing to the left, in highland unform with a diagonal red shoulder sash over his left shoulder.
