Oil painting on canvas, George O’Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont (1751-1837) by John Lucas (London 1807 – St John’s Wood 1874), 1834. A half-length portrait of The Earl of Egremont aged eighty-three, turned to the right, almost profile, wearing a white stock, black coat and a red-brown waistcoat with a red curtain behind.

Commissioned by the 3rd Earl of Egremont (1751-1834) and painted in 5 sittings at Petworth and completed 28th March 1834 by Lucas. By descent to the current Lord Egremont. On loan from the Egremont Private Collection
