Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Lady Charlotte Wyndham, Mrs King (1795-1870) by John Lucas (London 1807 – St John’s Wood 1874). A half-length portrait of a young woman, the third daughter of George O'Brien Wyndham, 3rd Earl of Egremont (1751-1837), turned three-quarters to the right, gazing at the spectator, and wearing a red bodice trimmed with lace and with her right hand across her body. In 1823 she married John King of Preston Candover, Hampshire.
