Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Frances Wyndham, Lady Burrell (1789-1848) by John Lucas (London 1807 – St John’s Wood 1874). A half-length portrait of a young woman, the eldest daughter of the 3rd Earl of Egremont, turned to the left, gazing at the specator, her brown hair falling in ringlets at the side of her face, wearing a blue dress and a red scarf worn over her left shoulder and a single-strand pearl necklace.
