Summary

A brass and pewter inlaid, ebony and parcel gilt pedestal candle stand, English, circa 1680 The octagonal top with a symmetrical floral arabesque design and with a moulded edge raised on a tapering hexagonal column with a parcel gilt collar and 'broken' scrolled legs.
