He is wearing a ruff, with short beard and moustache and leaning against a building/pillar. Inscribed 'IACOBUS IORDAENS./ PICTOR ANTVERPIAE, HUMANARUM FIGURARUM, IN MAIORIBUS./ Ant van Dyck pinxit. Pet de Iode Sculp. Cum privilegis.'
