Summary
Print, engraving, Robert Rich, 2nd Earl of Warwick (1587 – 1658) (after Sir Anthony Van Dyck), attributed to Jacobus Houbraken (Dordrecht 1698 - Amsterdam 1780). A head-and-shoulders portrait print of Robert, 2nd Earl of Warwick, facing the viewer, turned slightly to the left, in a cartouche. Warwick wears armour and beneath the cartouche is a lion and pick. Inscribed “Robert Rich, Earl of Warwick, Adml 1642 / Van Dyck pinxit / In the Collection of the Right Hon. the Lord High Chancellor. / Impensis J & P Knapton London 1747 / J Houbraken scupls. Amst 1747."
