(e-j) Set of six after J. Donowell - circa 1753. See also DYR.D.6.a-h and DYR.6.j. After the original painting, of 1729/31 (The Pond and the Temple) by Pieter Andreas Rysbrack, elder brother of the better-known sculptor John Michael, at Chiswick House (EH) which shows the first phase of Lord Burlington's remodelling of the grounds at Chiswick, before William Kent's interventions of the 1730s.
