Summary
One of two stands for an oblong octagonal soup tureen and cover with pomegranite finial and animal head handles. Part of an Armorial dinner service of octagonal form, the centre painted with a coat of arms and crest (crowned lion rampant gules) within a gilt spearhead surround, the borders with grisaille panels of landscapes and birds on branches.
