Summary
One of two plates painted in blue with band of cash ornament on rim, with European tropes referencing East Asia, including bottles and boxes and central panel of indented outline with a figure standing between a pavilion and a vase containing flowers. The back painted with a Chinese sacred symbol and three sprays of foliage. (Identical with DYR.C.90). Circa 1750. Probably Liverpool, England.
