Summary
English dress sword with straight blade engraved with flowers and foliage. Brass knuckle guard and pommel. Wooden wire-bound grip (some damage). Gold and wire tassel (31 cm long) (bad condition). Leather scabbard with brass mounts. Late 18th century. On card (Marked DYR.A.) 1770 - 1800.
Provenance
Indigenous collection purchased by Ministry of Works in 1956 and given to National Trust in 1961.
