Summary
Oil painting on canvas, Don Francisco Bayeu y Subias (1734-1795) by an imitator of Francisco de Goya (Fuendetodos 1746 - Bordeaux 1828). A three-quarter-length portrait, standing, body facing half right, head turned towards the spectator, standing before an easel, a brush held in his right hand by his side; he wears a black coat with silver braid in the front and at the cuff, and a white stock; his hair is tied behind with a black bow.
