A figured walnut open armchair, English, circa 1730, the shaped back with a solid splat surmounted with an arched pediment carved with rosette detail, the outscrolled arms on in-curved supports, the concave-fronted drop-in seat covered in gros and peitit point floral and bird needlework, on cabriole legs with shell carved knees and pad feet.
