Summary
One of a pair of square jardinieres (caisses a fleurs) in the form of orange tubs, each corner with a knob, the sides decorated with panels of children at play in puce monochrome on a white ground decorated with oeil-de-perdrix pattern. Maker's mark - interlaced L's, date letter for 1768, painter's mark for Jacques Fontaine.
