Summary
Pair of Sevres jardinieres of bombe rectangular form, each painted at the front with a panel of children in landscape, the sides with flowers, all reserved on a gros bleu ground with gilt vermiculated decoration. Maker's mark - interlaced L's, date letter for 1763, M painter's mark perhaps for Morin, K perhaps for Dodin.
Provenance
A bill preserved in the house states that this piece came from the collection of the ex-Queen of Portugal, 1920.
