Summary
One half of one of a pair of early Sevres vases hollandais that are formed in two pieces and of oval section; the tapering sides of the bowl painted with panels of children, landscapes and gardening implements; all reserved on a gros bleu ground with gilt cailloute decoration; the pierced oval stand with further gardening implements alternating with bands of gros bleu patterned in gilding. Maker's mark - interlaced L's in blue, date letter for 1757, painter's mark for Vieillard.
