Summary
Pair of Sevres ormolu mounted vases (vases cassolette a festons) of squat shouldered ovoid form with moulded gilt wreathes, painted on one side with quay scenes and the other with flowers in landscapes, reserved in bleu celeste ground. Vase has cover with gilt pomegranate knob. On square ormolu feet. Maker's mark - interlaced L's, date letter for 1781, painter's mark for Morin, HP painter's mark for Prevost aine.
