Summary
Pair of Chelsea figures of i) shepherd standing on a scroll edge rococo base and dressed in elaborate flowered and gilt clothes, patting a dog which jumps up at him and wearing a red cloak lined with yellow, a blue hat with pink ribbon and ostrich plume; ii) shepherdess standing on a scroll edged rococo base, dressed in elaborate flowered and gilt clothes and wearing a puce cloak lined in yellow, a circlet of flowers in her hair. The lamb in her left arm is wrapped in a blue rug; maker's mark - gold anchor mark. 1760 - 1765.
