Summary

Chelsea fable candlestick, the Tiger and the Fox, supported by flowering may trees, on gilt rocaille bases. The Tiger tries to pull an arrow from his flank. Foliate candle nozzles and drip pans supported on flowering may trees, the group set on elaborate scroll base picked out in gilding. Maker's mark - gold anchor mark. 1765 (circa).
