Summary
Terracotta, on terracotta plinth, Venus, 19th century. One of a pair of cast terracotta statues showing Diana and Venus, probably Italian, mounted on terracotta plinths. Venus is shown at her bath, nude, wrapping drapery loosely around her body. NT 436808.1 shows Diana wearing a full-length dress and shawl wrapped around the body.
