Summary
Terracotta on terracotta plinths, Diana and Venus, 19th century. Pair of cast terracotta statues depicting Diana and Venus, probably Italian, mounted on terracotta plinths. NT 436808.1 shows Diana wearing a full-length dress and shawl wrapped around the body. The hair is styled with a lunate crown. NT 436808.2 shows Venus at her bath, nude, wrapping drapery loosely around her body. She looks to her proper right. Alice Rylance-Watson October 2018
