Summary
A pair of William III sconces formed as scrolled pilasters decorated with applied acanthus foliage with a pendant flower spray at the base, pierced crown and sceptres above. The scroll branches chased with foliage, the undersides of the waxpans chased with foliage on matted ground with a knurled rim. The sockets partly chased with palm leaves. Made by David Willaume and dated 1699.
