Summary
Portrait miniature, enamel, King William IV (1765–1837), after Charles Jagger (Bath c.1770 – Bath 1827). Oval. Head and shoulders portrait turned slightly to the left, gazing at the spectator, in a blue coat , star and ribbon of the Garter and badge of the Bath. Blue eyes, white hair, ruddy complexion. Dark red background. Engraved, 'The Gift of His Majesty William The Fourth' June 6th 1837' and engraved hinged gold bangle - fitted Case.
