Summary
Limewood, carved applique panel in the style of Grinling Gibbons, possibly by Edmund Carpenter, c.1688. The panel is comprised of swags of anemone extending from a central bouquet and vase, framed by sprays of palm and garlands of arrowhead vine. The design and execution is close to the overmantel by Edmund Carpenter ,below which this panel is installed, however it may equally be the work of local craftsmen working in the style of Grinling Gibbons.
