Summary
Drawings in ink and colour- wash by Salvin on coarse drawing paper. The reverse is inscribed ' Hermitage ' and has an elevation of one end with notes and a key marked 'A' (the lower wall). Slabs of small smooth worked trees', 'B' ( the upper wall) ' Dry Moss' The roof is inscribed 'thatch'. The front is headed ' A design for the Hermitage on the island at Belton'. It shows a side elevation with a detail of the cupola and a plan also with detail. Torn along folded lines.
