Summary

Bay R of fitted mahogany library bookcases with removable metal grills. English, installed in the early 1890s by Coningsby Disraeli. Comprised of 9 shelves in total; 7 on the upper case and 2 on the lower case. Four original metal plates and padlocks (two on top case and two on lower case); those on left hand side are shared with Bay Q (429296.16), one on right hand side is shared with Bay S (429296.18).
