Summary
Silver medal commemorating Queen Victoria's visit to Aston Hall, Birmingham, on 15 June 1858. Obverse has young heads of Victoria and Albert facing left, inscribed 'Victoria D G Brit Reg F D . Albert Prince Consort.' and with the maker's mark 'Ottley'. Reverse has view of Aston Hall and the inscriptions 'Aston Hall erected 1618-35', 'Ottley, Birm' and 'H.M.G. Majesty Queen Victoria visited Birmingham to inaugurate Aston Hall and Park as a place for recreation. June 15th 1858'. Part of a box set (see NT/HUG/V/30a-h).
