Oil painting on millboard, Robert Francis St Clair-Erskine, 4th Earl of Rosslyn, PC (1833-1890), after Sir Francis Grant PRA (Kilgraston 1803 - Melton Mowbray 1878). A head-and-shoulders portrait, turned slightly to right, gazing at the spectator, grey hair, brown moustache. Wearing cravat held by gold pin with black stone and coat with fur collar.
