Summary

Black leather-bound presentation box (b), the lid with Royal arms in gold and inscribed 'Her Majesty's/ Patent.' The box can hold a letters patent dated 20 March 1858 appointing Disraeli to the position of Chancellor of the Exchequer in Ireland. Black seal attached by green and white cord to the letters and contained in black tin box with lid.
