Summary
A laburnum open armchair, English, circa 1780. The back with pierced toprail above a narrow spindle gallery and a wider spindle gallery below, each with seven uprights, the arms outswept and with set-back in-curved supports, the drop-in leather seat raised on square legs joined by stretchers, the front legs protruding upwards and with a flattened roundel finial.
