Pencil on paper, Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beconsfield, MP, PC, FRS, KG (1804-1881) as a Young Man by Daniel Maclise (Cork 1806 - London 1870). Signed and dated 'D.Maclise d..t July 1828'. Three-quarter length portrait, seated, looking to his right, left hand in waistcoat, left leg crossed over right. Iinscription on frame: 'B. Disraeli.' Part of set of portraits by Maclise of Benjamin Disraeli and his parents (see also NT/HUG/D/134a,b and NT/HUG/D/135a,b).
