Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, painted in underglaze blue with two fowl in a chinoiserie garden with rockwork, details in overglaze iron-red enamels in the Japanese Imari style, in the so-called Two Bird pattern, Lowestoft Porcelain factory, circa 1780. Pair with a teabowl in the same design.
